Sunderland Final

 

Champions! Nail biting 2-0 victory over Farringdon in the semi final followed by an equally nervy 2-1 win over Barnes Juniors in the final, saw our Y5s lift the trophy.

 

Hoops 4 Health competition - Jan 23

 

Great performance by all of Year 5 in the Hoops4Health tournament at City Space Sunderland. All 3 teams showing off skills learnt and practiced in PE lessons. One team managed to go undefeated throughout the tournament qualifying for the Sunderland Final at the Newcastle Eagles v Manchester Giants. Thanks to ex-pupil Beau, a Y10 student at Monkwearmouth Academy,  who volunteered to coach our Yr 5s after school every Friday.
