09.05.23 - Tag Rugby Champions
Well done to our Tag Rugby team who took the cup in the Cluster competition at Monkwearmouth Academy.
We had to split the children into two sides and both sides won games, but Seaburn Storm went unbeaten overcoming their classmates from Seaburn Saracens. What this picture doesn't show is the fantastic grit enthusiasm and willingness to have a go, from these children.
The children practiced every lunchtime for a week and played fantastically well in attack and defence today, scoring, well, I lost count of how many tries, alongside some acrobatic tags against Redby and two sides from Southwick.
Captain Jack lifted the cup, which we shared in assembly today.
