Well done to Year 2 who have received certificates today for their engineering competition.
The children had to design an engineering solution to a problem of their own choosing. These were then sent off to be judged by engineers with some of the children having their designs shortlisted in the regional finals and seen by VIPs from the engineering world.
We are all very proud of their achievements, which now go on display at Sunderland University.
