The school's Published Admission Number (PAN) is 30.
Choosing the very first school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make. We will be delighted to help you by explaining the admissions procedure and giving you a flavour of the whole school at work. Please contact Mrs Baker in the school office (0191 563 4100), who will make an appointment for you to visit us. We also welcome families of children moving from other schools due to a house move at any time within the school year.
Children become eligible for a nursery place as soon as they turn 3 years old. At this point, they are initially entitled to 15 funded hours per week, unless they already have a 30-hour eligibility code.
Our nursery sessions are extremely popular and places are subject to availability. To arrange a tour and meet our Headteacher and Reception staff, please contact Mrs Baker in the school office:

All nursery-aged children are entitled to 15 funded hours per week. In addition, we are pleased to offer:
30 funded hours per week for families who meet the Government’s eligibility criteria.
The option to purchase extra sessions beyond the 15 hours for those not entitled to 30 hours, charged at £15 per session.
We are pleased to offer nursery and Reception children access to our Government-piloted Extended Wraparound provision, available every day from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Please note that additional sessions are subject to staffing ratios and availability. To help us plan and organise staffing, payment for these sessions is requested a term in advance.
Children join Reception at Seaburn Dene Primary in the September of the academic year in which they turn 5.
All applications for Reception places are handled by the School Admissions Department at Sunderland City Council and not by the school. Applications should be submitted online at: 👉 www.sunderland.gov.uk/admissionsonline
