“We always try to be that little bit better — for ourselves, for each other and for our community.” John Howe, Head Teacher

Our school sits in a unique coastal location — surrounded by green outdoor spaces and just a short walk from the beautiful Seaburn Beach. Children here learn, play and explore in an environment shaped by nature, fresh air and a strong sense of community. From OPAL play to outdoor learning, our setting gives every child the space to grow.

When you join Seaburn Dene, you become part of a warm, vibrant school family where our values guide everything we do: respect, determination kindness and aspiration

We want our pupils to enjoy the very best childhood: asking big questions, discovering their talents, playing outdoors in all seasons and growing into confident, compassionate young people. Academically, we stretch and challenge every learner, nurturing independent thinkers, problem‑solvers and children who believe that anything is possible.

Our school is a place where children believe in themselves, belong to something special and are encouraged to dream big. With a dedicated, skilled staff team and a rich curriculum filled with sport, arts, outdoor learning and cultural experiences, we help every child flourish.
