At Seaburn Dene Primary School, our House Table Monitors, selected from across the school, play an important role in supporting lunchtime routines and promoting teamwork. They lead their houses during our “Dine and Shine” dinner times, helping younger pupils with their meals and ensuring everyone has a positive and enjoyable lunchtime experience.
House Table Monitors help to:
Support younger pupils with serving and clearing their dinners
Encourage polite, respectful, and safe behaviour at the tables
Promote teamwork and house spirit during lunchtime activities
Assist staff in maintaining a calm and organised dining environment
Promote the Golden Table on Fridays, recognising and celebrating the best-behaved tables
Through their leadership, House Table Monitors help foster a welcoming, inclusive, and well-run lunchtime for all pupils, while developing responsibility, organisation, and teamwork skills.
