Uniform is an important part of a school’s identity; it reinforces who we are as a community and fosters a sense of pride amongst our children.
In consultation with the governors, we have decided to make some changes to the uniform to start from September 2018. First of all, we are replacing the blue polo-shirts with white school shirts and school velcro ties. In addition, current sweatshirts are to be replaced with v-neck navy blue jumpers or cardigans. We will no longer have logos on our jumpers, but they will remain on our PE t-shirts. The rest of our uniform remains unchanged.
In making this change we worked towards some basic principles. Uniform should be practical, hard wearing and provide children with adequate protection from the British weather throughout the year. Secondly, there should be no significant change in cost and finally, uniform should present our children in the best way that we can, particularly when children are out in the local community being ambassadors of our school.
