Welcome to Seaburn Dene Primary School nursery page. Here you will find all the details and documents about part time (15 hours) and full time (30 hours) places in our school nursery. We hope you find them useful. If you have any queries or simply wish to visit the school, please telephone the school office to make an appointment for a tour of the school.
Currently, the school has a Foundation Stage Unit in which nursery and Reception children work together for part of the day. This will change in September when the nursery will have its own dedicated room. The Local Authority have drawn up plans to adapt our very large community room into a lovely space for our youngest children so that we are ready to take up to 30 children for 30 hours with 12 part time children. If you are committed to another school for 15 hours and need a further 15 hours please get in touch with us - we are very flexible.
If you think you are eligible for 30 hours free childcare for your 3/4 year old please check the criteria on the document attached. You will also find frequently asked questions, the different models we can offer you and a contract.
We look forward to hearing from you.

30 Hour Child Care - Important Information
As we start to approach the end of the autumn term we urge early years providers and Local Authorities to remind parents that they need to apply as soon as possible for their 30 hours eligibility codes. We strongly advise them to apply before 30 November to make sure they get their code in good time for the spring term starting in January. Not all parents can get a code straight away – HMRC sometimes needs more information to check whether a parent is eligible.
We also want you to remind parents who already have an eligibility code to reconfirm their eligibility for 30 hours every 3 months, so please do continue to communicate that important message too.
In addition the DfE has produced a new parent communications toolkit, to provide further information to parents about 30 hours and Tax-Free Childcare. The toolkit includes materials such as:
